A Message From Our President – Malia Rogers
Rise Together
Dear NABIP Idaho Members,
It is an honor to serve as President of NABIP Idaho this year alongside an incredible group of leaders who are willing to give their time, experience, and energy to our association and our profession.
Our theme this year is Rise Together. Our industry continues to change, and we have a choice: focus on the challenges in front of us or work together to create opportunities from them. This year, we want to rise together as professionals, leaders, advocates, and as a community.
Our board started the year focused on the future, building on the strength of our chapter while identifying new opportunities to grow, connect, and better serve our members. Our priorities include growing membership, strengthening member engagement, supporting our local chapters, increasing our visibility, and continuing to provide valuable education, networking, and advocacy.
Why NABIP?
I originally joined for the same reasons many people do: education, networking, and professional development. What I found was so much more.
I found a community unlike anything I expected and some of the most generous people I've met in this industry across the nation are NABIP members. Although some of us are competitors, we share ideas, cheer each other on, and help each other succeed. There's always someone a few steps ahead who's willing to reach back and help, and someone a few steps behind whom you have the opportunity to help in return.
For me, membership is also about supporting the profession that supports us. Think about this: the residual income from just one policy could potentially cover your NABIP dues for the entire year, while your membership helps give our profession a stronger voice with lawmakers and regulators.
There is strength in numbers. Every membership says, "This profession is worth protecting, and I stand behind the organization fighting for it."
That's why I'm a member, and why I hope you'll join us. Attend a local event. Introduce yourself to someone you don't know. Invite another insurance professional to join us. Get involved. Share your ideas. Support the partners who support our association.
There is a place for you here, and we're stronger when we Rise Together.
