PURPOSE: NABIP IDAHO is committed to transparency and fairness in all financial transactions. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be granted for membership dues, event registrations, sponsorships, and other payments made to the Association.
POLICY:
A. Membership Dues
Annual Membership Dues are non-refundable.
Membership dues support ongoing advocacy efforts, administrative operations, regulatory engagement, and member services. Once processed, dues will not be refunded in whole or in part, including in cases of:
- Voluntary cancellation
- Change in employment status
- Relocation
- Business closure
- Disciplinary removal
Exceptions may be considered in cases of duplicate payment or administrative error.
B. Event Registrations (Conferences, CE Programs, Meetings)
Cancellation by Attendee
- Cancellations received 30 days or more before the event: Full refund minus a $10 admin fee.
- Cancellations received 15–29 days before the event: 50% refund.
- Cancellations received fewer than 15 days before the event: No refund.

Substitutions
Registrant substitutions may be permitted at no additional cost up to 15 days prior to the event.
No-Shows
No refunds will be issued for no-shows.
C. Event Cancellation by the Association
If the Association cancels an event:
- Registrants will receive a full refund of registration fees.
- The Association is not responsible for travel, lodging, or other personal expenses incurred.
If an event is rescheduled, registration may be transferred to the new date or refunded upon request.
D. Educational Programs & Certification Courses
For paid courses, certification programs, or training sessions:
- Cancellation 14+ days prior: Full refund
- Cancellation 7–13 days prior: 50% refund.
- Less than 7 days prior: No refund.
Access to digital materials or online courses is non-refundable once access has been granted.
E. Processing of Refunds
- Approved refunds will be issued within 14–30 business days.
- Refunds will be issued using the original method of payment whenever possible.
- Credit card processing fees may be deducted where applicable.
F. Exceptional Circumstances
The Board reserves the right to consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis in extraordinary circumstances, including:
- Medical emergencies
- Natural disasters
- Government-declared emergencies
Documentation may be required.
G. Administrative Errors
If a payment was made in error (duplicate charge, incorrect amount, etc.), please notify us within 30 days of the transaction for review and correction.
H. Policy Modifications
NABIP Idaho reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. The policy in effect at the time of payment will apply.
